ITALTILE COMMERCIAL’S FINISHES ADD A TOUCH OF URBAN LUXURY TO MBOMBELA’S PREMIER BLUE GATE LIFESTYLE CENTRE EATERY.

The Blue Gate is Mbombela’s premier Lifestyle Centre offering “The Best of the Good Life”, with the offering of great product and superb service; a unique experience for customers, whether it’s a spa spoil, a delicious meal, an elegant afternoon tea or pampering haircare.

The centre’s Blue Gate Restaurant, a truly elevated eatery, was conceptualised in 2019 to offer “not just your average meal overlooking a parking lot”. The developers of the Blue Gate Centre reached out to Italtile Commercial to help them realise their dream of an urban oasis that satisfies all the senses. Visually, the restaurant creators, headed by owner Christian Nolter, were looking for relaxed yet vibey luxury (after all, one eats with one’s eyes first!). Italtile Commercial was the natural choice of partner to set the tone with high-end eco-chic tiles; the consortium reached out to Italtile Commercial’s Mpumalanga and Eswatini agent Willem Pretorius for guidance.

Willem was looking for an edgy urban aesthetic and selected Spazio, a matt, cement-style, glazed EcoTec porcelain tile range from sustainable local manufacturers Gryphon. Spazio has a unique variance from tile to tile which allows an authentic feel with very little repetition, the perfect eco-chic screed-look canvas for any contemporary space.
