 Renishaw Hills is a phased project, with completion in 2024. Currently, Nadia Moodley, our key accounts manager from Italtile Commercial’s Durban region, is working closely with Richard Crocker, Project Manager, contractors Inyoni Homes and Gridvist, as well as interior designer Terry Hampson. Nadia has oversight of the selection and installation of floor tiles throughout the development, and substantial work has already been done to complete a number of state-of-the-art units for 90 residents. Units will offer two or three bedrooms, with two bathrooms.

With a deep understanding of the requirements of a project of this nature, where the brief was “quality, value and nothing but the exceptional” Nadia chose to create a modern, laidback canvas that speaks of “Luxury Laidback Beach House”.

 To get the on-trend screed look, Nadia selected Midway White Glazed Porcelain Tiles (600x600): a beautiful warm beige ‘wash’ with a mild ‘visual movement’ and a luxurious matt finish that bare feet find very inviting. This range also creates an exquisite wallscape. This is a tile range with a low carbon footprint for a LiveGreen lifestyle.

 Nadia paired Midway with Spazio White Glazed Porcelain Tiles (600x600), another locally produced naturalistic cement-style tile range with Italtile’s LiveGreen stamp of sustainability. She also selected a third screed-style tile in a darker shade to create a greige contrast: Proudly South African Torre Titanium Matt Glazed Porcelain Tiles (600x600), with a slight mottling variance for a really authentic screed look. This range also carries Italtile’s LiveGreen logo.

Nadia remains on the project to see the long-term development through to completion. By 2024, Renishaw Hills will boast 350 stylish standalone homes, 170 deluxe, contemporary apartments, a village square, extensive walkways and lush gardens (designed by renowned botanist Elsa Pooley), a Care Centre and a holistic bouquet of amenities to create a self-contained village.
