Italtile’s New Howard Blue Porcelain Patchworks, “Made with Love” by Prissmacer Ceramica.

No-one understands pattern quite like the Spanish, with their legendary flair, passion and ‘alegría de vivir’ – love of life – which is built into the DNA of all Spanish design. So, when Spanish tilemakers Prissmacer Ceramica create patchworks, they do it with love. And it shows, in new Howard Blue, a crisp and fresh patterned porcelain tile, exclusive to Italtile.

The tile features a soft blue botanical abstract set in a woven blue, white and black geometric frame. Pattern keeps the eye busy and so it has been termed ‘anti-anxiety’ – and Howard Blue’s beautiful repetition creates a special calm and comfort. The soft blue is on trend in the New Neutrals palette, an aesthetic of the very palest whispers of sage greens, soft blues, lavenders and shell pinks, which we saw emerging during lockdown and has gained traction in 2022.
