Thanks to V&A’s careful curation of 194 colours from the RAL Colour System – best suited to enhance the elegance and sophistication of their bath and basin ranges – Italtile will now be able to help customers find the perfect colour match for both bathroom aesthetics and individual taste.

The RAL Colour System is a universal colour-matching system which was originally developed in Germany in the late 1920s. The aim was to ensure tonal consistency and accuracy across multiple items in manufacture. Today, the system is also much used by graphic designers, architects and interior designers; it now offers a total of 2540 RAL Colours in three ranges: Classic, Designer and Special Effect.

Whichever hue best suits your taste and needs, it will clad your chosen V&A bath or basin with a durable, hand-polished finish that delivers an immaculate lustre and tonal depth. Your chosen RAL colour will be sprayed (in matt or gloss finish) on to the exterior of your V&A bath or basin – the interior remains white.

Customised colour-treated V&A baths and basins are made to order, with a spray process that takes between 14 and 21 days. We advise our customers to allow at least two weeks’ lead time for delivery.
