Italtile’s exclusive new Spanish Stone-look tiles by Stylnul pay homage to Dolomite rock.

Situated in the deep south of Spain, Andalusia is famous for being the birthplace of the fiery dance style called flamenco, for the dangerous art of bullfighting, for its rich history as the last stronghold of the Moorish Empire – and for the exquisite Dolomite stone quarried in the limestone-rich region of the ‘Sierra del Mijas’. Dolomite, also known as dolostone, is pale grey-white, with beautiful Carrara marble-like veining, shimmer and mottling. (In fact, the mountainous region is also well-known for its marble and travertine.)

In homage to the almost ‘sugary’ sparkle and variance of their famous local stone, Spanish tile masters Stylnul (STN) created Rockstone Pearl, another eco-chic Stylnul innovation in design and technology, featuring their unique INOUT tech.

Stylnul’s signature technology optimises textural beauty and safety in slip-resistant tiles that are designed to flow seamlessly from inside to outside spaces, allowing uniformity, with continuity of the same colourway and tile, with velvet-smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces.

Unlike traditional slip-resistant tile surfaces, many of which have randomly applied abrasives which, while safe, create a hard-to-clean surface texture, INOUT is a technology that creates a fine, uniform coating of microscopic granules which is applied to the tile to deliver a smooth, slip-resistant surface which is very easy to wipe clean.

All INOUT tile designs, whether cement looks, stone or wood-effect, are designed for use inside and outside. INOUT Rockstone Beige and Pearl matt rectified porcelain tiles are incredibly durable, being resistant to temperature extremes as well as chemical, UV and fire resistant.
