Italtile introduces Global Stone’s eco-chic Cement Basins

The cement and concrete interiors trend is edgy, industrial and red-hot right now, and we’re seeing this this incredibly versatile and quintessentially architectural look popping up everywhere in minimalist and contemporary spaces. However, we believe the trend is moving from being fashionable to becoming a forever look, thanks to its timeless appeal and bare-bones simplicity.

Cement and cement-style basin designs are very popular, and in line with the demand, Italtile’s eco-chic partner Global Stone has designed a stunning range of beautifully simple cement basins which will elevate the minimalist mood of contemporary bathroom spaces. The range is exclusive to Italtile.

The basin range is manufactured from a very strong, lightweight concrete mix which is pre-sealed with a deep, penetrating sealer. Four styles are currently available, in four exquisite neutral shades: dramatic Charcoal, authentically-toned Natural, warm Taupe and delicately pale Bone. Each colour has been created to complement the various colours of the Italtiles Global Stone recycled glass mosaic range.

Global Stone’s new Cement Basins take inspiration from both gracefully curved and crisp geometric forms, in a range of four shapes with a silky matt finish. Benu is a ‘square-round’ with straight sides and a sloped interior; Cosme is a perfectly round deep bowl shape. Ritz is an attractive blend of both square and round in a bowl shape; and Elkano is a modern square bowl shape.

Each shape offers beautiful design and cutting edge tech, to deliver optimal performance and longevity.
