Italtile Commercial I Trilogy Collection

The Trilogy Collection - completed in November 2019 - is a spectacular residential complex that ticks all the boxes in sustainable living with a 4-star green rating, and is the newest jewel in the crown of the Menlyn Maine Precinct: South Africa’s first entirely green city in the making, situated in the plush eastern suburbs of Pretoria. The ultra-modern Trilogy Collection is the residential component of the Menlyn Maine Precinct, and its three towers of 358 apartments have been designed and finished to offer a luxe, eco-chic lifestyle with unrivalled views over the Jacaranda City.

To ensure that all future residents live beautifully and mindfully, Menlyn Maine Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd and WBHO Construction, together with GLH Architects and Source Interiors looked for a design partner who best represented the green credentials of the project. To this end, they joined forces with Italtile Commercial and put their heads together with Senior Commercial Agent for the region, Marius Maree.

Marius was tasked with the selection of high-end tiles, baths, showers, sanitaryware, kitchen sinks, taps and porcelain tiles. He chose a tile colour palette of complementary greys, which included two of Italtile’s luxury stone-inspired porcelain tile ranges: Landstone Nuovo by Ceramiche Cerdisa (in Smoke, Night and White), paired with local Neptune (in beautifully varied Charcoal and Grey), exclusive to Italtile Commercial from Ceramic Industries – leaders in sustainable tile manufacture.

Victoria + Albert Baths and Betta Baths add ultimate five-star luxury to the bathrooms, which also feature a selection of Italtile’s top water-saving brands: Hansgrohe mixers, Laufen Pro sanware, futuristic Laufen Palomba and SaphirKeramik^TM basins and Almar showerheads. Gourmet kitchens feature Italtile’s Smeg sinks, paired with Tivoli sink mixers.
