Completed Home I House Lombardi

When the Lombardi family wanted to remodel the main bathroom of their lovely home in the sought-after area of Heldervue estate, Somerset West, they took their dreams of luxury living to Dominik Prestele, an executive sales and design consultant at our Somerset West Showroom.

Thanks to his design flair and deep understanding of our product ranges, Dominik interpreted the Lombardi brief – contemporary luxury and a sophisticated colour palette that showcases the dramatic matt black trend – with a selection of some of Italtile’s most beautiful, imported high-end bathroom furniture, sanitaryware, tiles, mosaics and finishes.

Dominik set the tone with a combination of on-trend XXL glazed porcelain floor tiles: 1000 x 1000mm Bali Gris and Blanco. To complement this combo, he selected Alfaro Anthracite glazed ceramic tiles for the walls. Mindful of water restrictions, he proposed an eco-chic black Almar square shower head and ITD Larna shower waste, a Laufen Pro rimless white wall-hung WC, Tivoli Gadoni black basin and shower mixer, together with the Pimento freestanding bath mixer.

Per his clients’ request, a Geberit basin was installed, with the help of [email protected]

The star of the show is undoubtedly the statement Dado Rosella matt pearl white freestanding bath coated in matt black: this is a unique piece, being a smaller bath with deep, tapered sides. Smart design means a luxurious soak in less water!

To complete the sophisticated palette, Dominik selected the Jeeves Tangent Ladder

The completed Lombardi project is truly a bathroom for our time.
