Cleaning: Use TFC Grout Off to remove excess grout and cement residue. The product is diluted at a ratio of 1:20 with water (grout off: water). Saturate the area and scrub using a hard-bristle broom or scrubbing pad. There are pinprick holes in the product, so the bristles help. Rinse with water. Use TFC Easy Clean, diluted to the same ratio of 1:20. Scrub and then rinse. TFC Easy Clean is a heavy-duty de-greaser and neutraliser. Rinse well at least 2 times. Allow to dry completely before sealing (48 hours).

Sealing: The recommended sealer for this particular terracotta is TFC HP Sealer. This is a very durable colour enhancing sealer. It is a twin pack, so there is a pot life of 4 hours from when the catalyst is added. Instructions and tips and tricks are on the tin. Apply using a sheepskin applicator (just ensure it has been de-fluffed before using). A minimum of 2-3 coats is necessary, applied in opposite directions. Allow to dry between coats (touch dry). This sealer is a matt sealer and will matt down in time.
