It helps when you’ve got great taste when creating for the Woolworths Taste

Late in 2017, the Woolworths Taste Magazine got a new kitchen in Bree Street, Cape Town. The magazine offers great recipe articles and videos on how to create tasty meals for any shape of family. Woolworths is now able to produce these shots and videos in a slightly more personal tone – thanks to this new kitchen.

This open plan, urban-traditional space is formed from neutral colours for a blank canvass on which to make magic happen. In order to create this look, Italtile recommended Douglas Jones Flat White Matt Subway Tiles of original proportions – giving that authentic retro look and feel.

They also put forward a new kitchen mixer of the Tivoli New Road tap range, that features the professional spring arch, that allows freedom of movement in the sink area.

Italtile was ecstatic to be able to sponsor alongside epic brands like Smeg and Caesarstone and produce this backdrop for Woolworths to cook, entertain and shoot scrumptious food. The Woolies foodie team is thrilled with the outcome - “We wanted our studio to an inspiring place to make beautiful food.” food editor, Abigail Donnelly.
