We realise that excellence is the key to success – and nothing less will do. As a showcase of this, Italtile has sent all sales and marketing advisors on an internationally accredited decorating and design course with Chapters Interior Design Company.

Chapters operate throughout Southern Africa and are run by interior designers who wish to nurture creative and design orientated individuals to elevate standards within the industry. Chapters Interior Design Company is a member of The Association for Private Practitioners for Education, Training and Development (APPETD); The Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA) and City & Guilds UK.

The course with Chapters took staff members through various facets of decorating principals over many months and then put the skills to the test in practical on which they were graded. All participants of this course are now qualified to disperse interior design know-how to our customers. Chapters training is by no means the beginning or end of Italtile’s investment in our sales consultants.

Weekly supplier product training, peer-to-peer learning programs and motivational training are some of the other forms of training our staff to receive. We do all of this because our service is what sets us apart from Nigel and Norman. This is what allows our consultants to advise you on what may not have the highest price tag, but suite your taste and budget.

All of this training allows our consultants to comment from a place of knowing and understanding the process of decorating and renovation from start to finish – from measurements to matching; from finishes, to form and function and from style to space and spectrums.
