The Bright Star LED mirror is battery operated and is a great retrofit option for any bathroom as it does not require any electrical connection. The battery pack has been specifically designed for the wet environment and is neatly tucked away behind the mirror.
This mirror contains a plethora of tiny stars in two rows on either side of the mirror and this type of illumination is suitable for ambient lighting.
For ease of use, the battery pack easily dislodges for charging purposes. Instructions for charging include a charge period of 5 hours and an operational time period of 6 hours. The dimming of the lights is the indicator that the unit needs to be recharged. The battery life should last 24 days when used for 15 minutes each day. Should you purchase a second battery unit, you will never be without the unit's shimmering shine.
The unit is turned on and off through a conveniently located switch on the battery pack.
While the mirror is assembled in South Africa, the glass comes from Pilkington, England. This type of glass is often superior to other glass used for mirrors due to its crystal clear colour and clarity. This means a more accurate reflection without any colour interference in the image.
The size of the mirror is fairly regular and suits most single basins well - 700 x 500 x 45 mm, and should only be mounted in a portrait position.
Affirmations mirrors include pre-mounted brackets. All electrical components are mounted in the rear of the mirror and are safe for the bathroom environment.
